What is the difference between the intelligence of animals and humans? And is it different? The big question!
You, Humans, often boast of your intellect and believe that in Us, the Animals, it is developed quite differently. And to you, they say, these abilities are given from birth. But is it?

Among you Humans, there is one clever comrade, a ne-ro-psi-ho-log (whatever that means) nicknamed Oliver Sachs. And he studied the People who do not hear (either from birth, or became deaf in the process of life). And he discovered an amazing thing.
It turned out that if a deaf child lives in a family of hearing parents, but at the same time they do not pay enough attention to him, do not learn sign language themselves and communicate with a child a little, this child grows up with intelligence ... well, I won’t tell you, like an Animal, it’s not for me to judge but with something similar.
For example, even in adulthood such a person will live in the present, not being able to think in terms of the future and the past. Abstract concepts will not be available to him. Like generalizations.
And this is not Mowgli who grew up among animals! These are the people who lived in a society of their own kind.
So - is ours, animal intelligence different from yours, human? In any case, is this notorious intellect given to you, humans from birth?
