Raccoon: Bule Mom's Blog
«
Excuse me all-all-all! Honestly - I got it up, I made some drafts about Enotia, and my hands didn’t get to finalize them in one piece. Our mother is a dancer, she teaches shaking booty in the evenings in a dance studio))) Our mother is a SMM worker, promotes everyone and everything on social networks))) Our mother is an organizer of master classes, exhibitions, a blogger and many much more .... As our grandmother says: “A drum circle, a circle according to the photo, I still want to sing ...”
Fuh, that's all, gathered his thoughts and now, a report about the Minsk contact zoo "Country EnotiYa", the one in Tivali on Sportivnaya.
The most important part of a child’s communication with animals is direct contact. The ability to touch, feel the heat. The child in the first years of life, especially after a year, learns to distinguish between tactile sensations, hot / cold, soft / hard, sharp / smooth, etc. Based on these sensations, the perception of the world around the child is formed. His fingers help build connections from visual to tactile. Therefore, it is very important at this stage not to distance oneself from animals, but rather to encourage the baby’s contacts with the living around him, to strive to help him to know this world. Often we walk and observe such a picture - the child wants to pet the dog (domestic, with the owner, on a leash), and the “mom”, shouting “NOOE-E-T”, grabs the child and pulls it away from the friendly animal, while it’s all excited, scared, sweat all, poor thing ... So what kind of impressions will the child have? He will obviously think: “Well, pipets, mother, you’re probably giving it on four legs, and the truth is very dangerous, if I’m afraid of them.” Allowing children to touch the worms and collect spiders and snails is normal! Remember your childhood. Who stood above you in the yard? Mom in the kitchen looks out the window: in place? So all the rules. Do not worry - all the same, the current generation as it grows up will immediately go into the virtual world. Sadly, the fact of the development of our civilization. Therefore, I appeal! Please - give your child, until he is spoiled by the Internet and game consoles, smartphones and tablets, the opportunity to know the real world, to be in touch with what surrounds him.
Of course, you don’t need to run around the streets and look for animals that you can touch, for this there is such a thing as a “contact zoo”. Timka and I have been in this.
Photo report from our second visit, so I will talk in parallel and how it was for the first time.
The first visit was in the spring, when Tim was a year and a half. Last time - a year and 10.
I tell in order.
Prices.
Admission was 12.5 rubles per adult, 8.5 rubles per child under 8 years old, for children under 3 years old admission is free. If on weekdays, then for adults - 10, for children - 8. Time is not limited. But! I must say right away that Tim did not withstand more than an hour for the first or second time. How was this expressed? Yes, he just squealed if something was not what he wanted) Therefore, for a child under 3 years, expect only 30 to 60 minutes of visit.
At the reception you are given shoe covers and are asked to treat your hands with a disinfector, of course they have it there) you don’t need to carry your own.
After that, you can begin the journey.
Oh yes, I almost forgot - if this is your first time, then you will be instructed. Everything is very strict in this regard, they monitor everything, so do not try to play pranks) For example, you can’t take animals into your hands without permission, you can feed only for an additional fee and so on.
Inside.
When I got there for the first time, shoe covers alerted me. I think that's it! Once the shoe covers, so that the shoes do not get dirty, now there will be tin, poop, smell ... The smell really was, but it's a zoo. But in general, everything is very clean and tidy. I was even surprised how they manage to watch everything. The enclosures are clean, neat, filled with new sawdust, the bowls in animals are clean, with fresh water and food (I now feel like Elena Flying))).
The zoo itself is not big. You do not expect elephants or tigers to be in the contact zoo. Six aviaries on one side, one terrarium, and 6 or 7 on the other. Between them is a wide passage. Inside you will find several administrators, all smiling, polite girls. If necessary, they will lead and show, and tell you where you can go on your own, and where you can’t go unaccompanied) Timka was almost immediately allowed to stroke the chinchilla, he was delighted and immediately began to pick it up, hold it to himself and kiss it.
I tried to talk a lot with Tim, constantly reminding me that around him there was a living, feeling .. It seemed like a ride with a chinchilla)
We moved around the enclosures in a clockwise direction and the first to get goats). They were very calm and contact, there were two in the corral.
On the first goat, he simply lay down and hugged her, pressing his cheeks to the sand-brown wool (we have great cheeks, we have something to snuggle up to)). Both goats with big horns, which Tim switched to a little later: he grabbed the horns with his hands. Goats responded with rather sharp movements, so you need to look at what your baby is doing and how animals react to it.
Explain to the child that if a goat shakes its head, it means that it does not like or is unpleasant, which means that it does not need to be done.
In the next enclosure there was a sheep with ... a llama! Yes Yes ! Black llama with hairstyle, which Tina Turner herself will envy))
The lamb looked at us in the spirit of "still peppered." And in some ways she was right: a day off, a lot of people, children squeak, laugh. So the emotions of the sheep were not fake - they actually squeezed it.
But balbeska lama is something! I myself am delighted with her and enjoyed meeting this beautiful animal. Tim, of course, tried to hug her long, thin neck and honestly, I was a little afraid that the llama would push him (you understand, of course, that it wasn’t specially), so I didn’t go a step away.
You know, with a child (especially as active as mine), always as if on pins and needles. Especially with animals. With those that are bigger - you watch so that they don’t hit, which is smaller - so that the child does not trample them. When we hung out in small enclosures with small rodents (in Raccoon they were rabbits and guinea pigs), Tim tried to kick one of them with his foot.
Of course, he didn’t manage to do anything bad, but the attempt itself scared me. Therefore, be on the alert: not only because large animals can accidentally hurt the baby, but the child himself, feeling his physical superiority and, through negligence, can harm small animals.
On the spot you can buy a glass of food for animals, in my opinion, 2 rubles. If I'm not mistaken. There are hours of feeding and a time when animals cannot be fed (this is specially done so as not to overfeed the animals).
That day we arrived when it was no longer possible to feed the animals. Therefore, I will tell you how this happened on our first visit. We did not even know about these cups of food and that they could be bought at the entrance. When Tim saw one of the other children, he requested the same. And I didn’t have money with me (Thanks to the administrator girl who just came up to us and quietly shoved some dried sushi. We were at that moment in an aviary with rabbits (a whole corral where you can’t count them!) And immediately a crowd of eared attacked Tim: It was funny to see how he quickly lost the desire to feed and had a desire to eat))) he began to stuff drying into his mouth, and disappointed rabbits poked their noses at Timkin's legs. In short, very funny, we fed the rabbits) they still managed to snatch a few pieces.
And also, when we were for the first time, a manual skunk was freely running around this zoo. With a businesslike look, she cruised from the aviary to the aviary and with a long curious nose checked whether everything was in order. This time she was sleeping.
But the foxes did not sleep! I don’t remember what they were called exactly, such as tropical or some other, but very cool. You can only go to them with the employee (since there are many of them). Tim really they were not impressed.
This time there was no protein, instead of them we found meerkats. On his last visit, Tim was delighted with squirrels and burst out with a loud laugh - they galloped around the aviary like crazy and climbed the walls, being especially active if someone came up. Meerkats just belligerently rushed about the pen.
This time they were not allowed to go to noses - they had a dream. I really liked them last time) It’s better to listen to the administrator and not go into their enclosure with jewelry, handbags, elastic bands on the hair, hairpins and so on - all this will be stolen in an insolent manner. For example, I managed to unfasten the clasp on a pandora, it’s good that I saw this and hid the bracelet on time. And the tail on my head was badly battered) But what an attentive and contact they are! Raccoons are a little less active and so cute.
Still there are pigeons. You can go to them yourself, and if you catch the moment, you can put one of the birds on your hand.
We (this is me about Timka now) were most impressed by ungulates, rodents, pigeons and lizards, as Tim calls lizards. Of course, as usual, when we were tired, scandals and tantrums began, and in order not to frighten the animals we were forced to retire.
In general, I am pleased with the place, if only for the second time in it. It’s a pity, of course, that far from us, we would go more often. In this place it will be interesting not only to the child, but also to the adult. After all, not every day you can stroke a black llama, hold a nose or a chinchilla on your hands. And for children (especially if there is not a single animal at home) this is just a real find.
The next time I talk about how I established a quiet (this is the adjective that defines it here) communication of a bull with a baby in the first months of my life.
